"Fatah" and "Hamas" and Other Factions: What Happened in Nablus is a Bloody Massacre

SadaNews - Palestinian factions condemned on Friday the massacre perpetrated by the occupation and settlers in the town of Tal in the Nablus region.

The "Fatah" movement stated in a press release, "The bloody massacre committed by the occupying army and settler gangs demonstrates the extent of the terrorist-criminal tendencies within the colonial occupation regime that openly spills the blood of the Palestinian people to implement projects of displacement and deportation, continuing its genocidal war against our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank." according to the text of its statement.

The statement added, "This massacre, which was committed following massacres in the villages of (Deir Jarir, Beit Furik, Jalod, and al-Mughayer) and others, places the international community before decisive obligations regarding its silence on the rampage of the colonial occupation regime and its terrorism and bloodshed that continue to terrorize our unarmed people in Palestinian villages, communities, and towns, confirming that the occupation regime disregards international law and the decisions of international legitimacy, and seeks to achieve its escalatory ambitions aimed at implementing annexation and displacement plans."

"Fatah" called on the international community to intervene immediately, enforce the colonial occupation regime's compliance with international law, and hold the leaders of the occupation accountable as war criminals, adding that merely issuing condemnation statements amounts to implicit approval of the Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people, and is a contempt for laws, charters, agreements, and international treaties.

For its part, "Hamas" stated that the occupation is escalating its crimes against the Palestinians in the West Bank, with the latest being the massacre in the town of Tal, after its soldiers fired directly at citizens while defending their land and property against settler attacks.

"Hamas" affirmed that "what happened is a crime of field execution, and a new war crime added to the bloody record of the occupation against our people, revealing the criminal nature of the occupation forces that do not hesitate to target and kill Palestinians in cold blood." according to the text of its statement.

It emphasized that "the occupation's approach of shedding Palestinian blood will not succeed in instilling fear among our people; rather, it will increase their determination, steadfastness, and defiance, and will fuel a state of anger that will not end until the occupation is removed."

"Hamas" called on the people of the West Bank to escalate confrontation with the occupation at all points of contact, to unite ranks, activate all means of resistance, and ensure that the occupation and its settlers pay for their crimes, and not to allow them to violate our land and sanctities, and that their incursions into our villages in the West Bank should be an opportunity to target them with full force. According to its statement.

The Popular Front and the Democratic Front also condemned the massacre committed in the town of Tal, amid calls to confront the attacks of the settlers.
