SadaNews Translation - The Israeli army confirmed on Friday that it has decided to initiate a large-scale operation in the West Bank, particularly in Nablus and the village of Tal, following the incident that occurred there.

It noted that more than 80 wanted individuals have been arrested in the West Bank over the past week.

It was decided to impose a complete closure on Nablus, especially the town of Tal. This was also reported by SadaNews.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army radio reported that it was decided to impose restrictions on the movements of settlers in the West Bank and to reinforce and deploy its forces in various areas, particularly Nablus, while keeping it under siege.

An official Israeli security source stated, following a preliminary investigation, that dozens of Israelis entered the areas (A) and (B) on an uncoordinated trip and reached the Palestinian village of Tal near Nablus.

It was indicated that a violent physical altercation erupted between dozens of Palestinians and the group of hikers.

It was clarified that when forces were sent to the area, the level of tension escalated, including gunfire, during which a weapon belonging to a member of the emergency unit, who was killed in the incident, was seized.

It was pointed out that a border police unit eliminated the Palestinian who opened fire, according to the claims of their narrative.
