Netanyahu was quoted in the statement as saying: "We will take decisive measures against the 'terrorists' and those behind them, and we will not allow 'terrorism' in the West Bank and Jerusalem to raise its head," as he put it.

This came at a time when Itamar Ben Gvir stated that the fate of the villages and towns in the West Bank where murderers commit acts should be the same as the fate of Beit Hanoun in Gaza, as translated by SadaNews.

He added: "I am on my way to attend a security meeting, and I will demand instructions for the Israeli army to destroy, from the air and using D9 bulldozers, the homes of extremists and their supporters, and to exact the price they deserve from the terrorists," as he expressed.
