The Presidency Condemns the Terrorism of Settlers and Holds the Occupation Government Responsible for the Escalation

SadaNews - The Palestinian presidency condemned today, Friday, the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces and terrorist settlers against our people in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, the latest of which was the massacre committed in the village of Tal in Nablus governorate, which resulted in the martyrdom of four citizens from one family and the serious injury of three others, along with subsequent brutal assaults on unarmed citizens and their properties in the towns and villages of Aourif, Surra, Imatin, Far'ata, Ameeriah, and Massafer Yatta, in addition to storming the specialized hospital in Nablus, terrorizing medical staff and citizens, attacking them, and abducting citizens.

The presidency, in a statement, held the extremist occupation government fully responsible for the daily crimes committed by settler gangs against our defenseless people, which have resulted in the martyrdom of 87 citizens since the beginning of the year, including 21 killed by settlers' fire.

The presidency stated that the occupation government provides financial and political support to settler gangs to escalate their terrorism against citizens in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and to implement the forced displacement plan, while continuing its war against our people in the Gaza Strip, despite declaring a ceasefire.

The presidency warned of the continuation of these crimes and daily violations against our people, affirming that the occupation government is pushing the West Bank toward an explosion, implementing its colonial plans.

The presidency condemned Netanyahu's decisions and those of his Minister of War, which followed the crime committed by the occupation forces in the village of Tal, aimed at accelerating the establishment and framing of colonial outposts, reinforcing forces in the West Bank, intensifying raids, and imposing a siege on Nablus and its surroundings.

The presidency urged the U.S. administration to intervene and compel Israel to stop its escalation and the settlers' crimes, emphasizing that the continuation of the current situation will drag the entire region into repercussions that are dire.

It also called on the international community to uphold its moral and legal responsibilities to stop this Israeli escalation, provide protection to our people, and hold the occupation accountable for these crimes.
