The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission Condemns the Escalation of Settler Attacks in the West Bank, and Nablus Governor Calls for Increased Preparedness

SadaNews - The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission considers the alarming rise in settler assaults against our Palestinian people in several villages and towns as a blatant violation of the sanctity of Palestinian blood, revealing a clear intent to commit massacres against citizens defending their land and terrorizing the safe owners of the land.

While the Commission warns of the dangers of this escalation, it affirms that what is happening is part of a policy to transfer tools of extermination to all places of Palestinian existence, in addition to imposing new facts on the ground, forcibly displacing citizens, and seizing more Palestinian land, in a flagrant violation of international law and the Geneva Conventions.

The Commission calls on our people to exercise the highest levels of caution, vigilance, and to guard homes and land in targeted areas, and not to move individually in these areas, as well as to document violations by all available means to contribute to the legal pursuit of perpetrators of crimes.

It also urges the international community, the United Nations, and human rights and humanitarian organizations to assume their legal and moral responsibilities, to urgently act to curb the crimes of settlers, hold those responsible accountable, and provide international protection for our Palestinian people.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission emphasizes that the terrorism of the settlers will not succeed in breaking the will of our people or deterring them from holding onto their land and defending it, and that the Palestinian people will continue their steadfastness in the face of all policies of occupation and settlement until they obtain their legitimate rights.

The governor emphasized the importance of uniting the efforts of all concerned parties and working with a spirit of responsibility and mutual coordination, calling for adherence to the instructions issued by the relevant authorities and enhancing field readiness to deal with various developments, in order to maintain the security and safety of citizens in Nablus governorate.
