
Teenager Seriously Injured in Work Accident in Sakhnin
SadaNews - A 14-year-old boy was injured last night with injuries described as serious in a work accident that occurred inside a factory in the city of Sakhnin in the Galilee region, northern occupied Palestine.
The spokesperson for "Magen David Adom" reported that "at 23:38, a report was received at the information center 101 about a boy, a worker, being injured while working in a factory in Sakhnin. Paramedics provided medical treatment to the 14-year-old boy and transported him to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, where he is in serious condition."
A paramedic from "Magen David Adom", Michael Babionichev, stated, "We found the boy trapped between one of the machines. He was disoriented and suffered from serious injuries to his body. During the rescue operations, we provided him with life-saving medical treatment and transported him to the hospital in stable condition."
In this context, the spokesperson for the Galilee Medical Center (Western Galilee Hospital) in Nahariya reported that "a 14-year-old boy, a resident of Kfar Manda, was transported to the Galilee Medical Center by Magen David Adom after being injured while working in a factory in Sakhnin. The boy's condition was described as serious but stable, and he was taken to the trauma room for treatment and imaging, and he will be transferred later to the pediatric intensive care unit."
The occupation police claimed that they had opened a file to investigate the circumstances of the accident and notified representatives of the Ministry of Economy (Industry, Trade and Labor) as required.
