Demolition of Two Homes and Attacks by the Occupation and Settlers in Jerusalem and the West Bank

SadaNews - On Monday, Israeli occupation forces demolished two tin homes belonging to two Bedouin families and uprooted areas of agricultural land planted with fig, grape, and olive trees in the "Mushatil" area east of Al-Eizariya, located to the east of Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that occupation vehicles, accompanied by a large force of the occupation army and what is known as "the civil administration", stormed the area at dawn and demolished two residential homes belonging to brothers Yahya and Younes Abu Ghalia, which housed several family members, including children and women, displacing them under harsh summer conditions.

Sources indicated that the occupation forces also destroyed more than 50 water tanks, varying in capacity from one and a half to five cups, which families in the area used to secure their daily needs, in light of the lack of infrastructure services and scarcity of water sources.

The uprooting also affected agricultural land planted with fruit trees, as part of the policies of forced displacement and restrictions on the Palestinian presence in the areas surrounding occupied Jerusalem.

It is noted that the Mushatil area in Al-Eizariya is one of the areas repeatedly targeted by the occupation authorities as part of the policy of expanding Israeli settlements and suffocating Palestinian towns located around the colonial wall.

In a related context, occupation forces stormed the village of Roujeib east of Nablus.

Local sources reported that occupation vehicles raided the village while soldiers took to the rooftops of homes, and others stormed the home of the prisoner Ashraf Abu Al-'Al and searched it, tampering with its contents.

Meanwhile, settlers attacked the homes of citizens in the town of Sebastia northwest of Nablus.

Local sources stated that settlers attacked the homes of citizens in the village, throwing stones and metal pieces at them.

They added that settlers stormed the archaeological area in the town today three consecutive times, under the protection of occupation soldiers.

The town continuously suffers from repeated attacks by settlers and incursions by occupation forces.
