The General Assembly of Arkan Real Estate Holds Its Annual Ordinary Meeting

SadaNews - The General Assembly of Arkan Real Estate Company held its fourth annual meeting, with the participation of shareholders holding shares by proxy and in their own right, representing 79.71% of the shareholders.

The Chairman of the Board, Riyad Nazzal, opened the meeting by presenting the Board of Directors report for the year 2025, while the General Assembly approved the report and financial statements, including the remuneration of the board members. They also approved the discharge of the board members for the fiscal year 2025 and elected Ernst & Young as the company's auditor for the fiscal year 2026.

Nazzal stated: "We continued to operate in a complex operational environment this year; however, the clarity of our vision and our institutional discipline enabled us to manage Arkan's assets and investment portfolio in a balanced manner, maintaining stable performance and enhancing our readiness for growth." He pointed out that throughout the year, the company adopted an approach balancing financial strength with investment in long-term value opportunities.

He added, "The results of Arkan during the year 2025 reflected an improvement in profitability supported by the robustness of its investment portfolio, achieving a profit of 17.5 million dollars for Arkan's shareholders, compared to a loss of 7.1 million dollars in 2024. Assets saw a growth of 26% alongside a 17% decrease in liabilities, reinforcing the financial position and supporting the company's readiness for the upcoming phase."

It is noteworthy that Arkan Real Estate began its operations in July 2022 as a public joint stock company with a capital of 131.6 million shares. Arkan has a strategic real estate portfolio in vital areas in Palestine, including the Jericho Gateway project, which enables it to execute significant quality real estate projects and invest in new cities and neighborhoods. The company also holds an investment portfolio that includes bank shares, providing annual returns that strengthen the company's financial position.
