Tens of Thousands Participate in the Conclusion of the "Rawabi Palestine Championship for the Beauty of Purebred Arabian Horses" in Rawabi City
SadaNews - In an exceptional national and sporting celebration, the city of Rawabi concluded the activities of the "Rawabi Palestine Championship for the Beauty of Purebred Arabian Horses," which was held over three days. The closing ceremony was attended by the Governor of Ramallah and al-Bireh, Dr. Leila Ghannam, and the CEO's deputy of Bayti Real Estate Investment Company, which developed Rawabi, Riyad Nazzal, alongside a massive presence of officials and spectators, featuring a remarkable participation from elite breeders of the finest Arabian horses and their riders. This event marked one of the most prominent and largest competitions of the season for lovers of authenticity and heritage in Palestine.
The championship, overseen by specialized international and local judging committees, witnessed strong and thrilling competitions that showcased the agility and beauty of over 300 purebred Arabian horses. This sporting event attracted more than 15,000 visitors who flocked to downtown Rawabi throughout the championship to watch the shows and enjoy the atmosphere that combined the richness of history with modern organization.

The results of the championship, held under the main sponsorship of the Jericho Gate Company and strategic sponsorship from Palestinian Communications Company/ Jawwal, resulted in the crowning of the horse KA NABRAS with gold amidst a warm celebration from the attending audience.

In her comments on the conclusion of the championship, the Governor of Ramallah and al-Bireh, Dr. Leila Ghannam, stated that the event's outstanding success represents a message of resilience and attachment to the cultural and heritage identity of the Palestinian people. She noted that this sports event proved that Arabian horses have been, and will remain, symbols of dignity and authenticity, present in the consciousness of the nation and a testament to the legacy of ancestors that is proudly passed down to future generations.
She praised the exceptional organizational efforts of Rawabi city and its organizers, confirming that Palestine is capable of hosting major international events with efficiency and competence, and that such successes enhance the governorate's status as a vital and attractive center for tourism and culture, proving to the world the awareness and passion of the Palestinian people for life and creativity.
For his part, the CEO's deputy of the Bayti Real Estate Investment Company that developed Rawabi, Riyad Nazzal, emphasized that the significant success and unprecedented type of public attendance reflect the clear vision set by the city's founder Bashar Masri, aiming to highlight Rawabi as a haven for creativity and excellence in Palestine.
He added that Rawabi has once again proven that its infrastructure and developed facilities create an ideal and strategic environment for hosting major national events to international standards.
For his part, the head of the organizing committee for the championship, Muhammad Makho, expressed pride in the technical and logistical level presented by the championship, clarifying that preparations were made according to the highest internationally recognized standards, adding that the volume of participation and the quality of the competing horses reflect the significant development seen in the equestrian beauty sport in Palestine.
He confirmed that the exceptional facilities and modern amenities provided by Rawabi city formed a cornerstone for the success of this organization and for presenting the championship in a bright manner that befits Palestine's place on the map of regional championships.


In a gesture of appreciation at the conclusion of the championship, members of the international and local judging committees were honored for their efforts in managing the competitions with integrity and high professionalism. Police and civil defense teams were also honored for their exceptional role and diligent efforts in organizing the event and maintaining public safety and security, providing a comfortable and safe environment for thousands of visitors throughout the three days of the championship.
