Education: The General Secondary Examination Next Saturday Will Be Held Electronically
SadaNews - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced that the General Secondary Examination scheduled for next Saturday, July 4, will be conducted electronically. Students from various branches, including Islamic and Christian education, as well as from the religious branch for the Quran and its sciences, will take the first paper by using the Wise School application inside the exam halls.
The ministry called on students, in a statement on Thursday, to download the Wise School application for Android devices from the Google Play Store and for iPhone (iOS) from the App Store, to ensure a smooth and easy examination process.
It stated that the Android operating system for the phone used should be at least software version 8 or higher, and the iOS for the iPhone must be at least software version 15.1 or higher, to guarantee the smooth and successful administration of the exam.
The ministry confirmed that a video will be published explaining how to log in and take the exam, urging students to fill in their login details (ID number and password) calmly and accurately.
It clarified that the exam will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions, and the duration of the exam will be one and a half hours.
The education ministry pointed out that if the ID number begins with a zero, it should be entered. For example, if a student's ID number is 081542697, it should be entered including the leading zero.
