Palestine Bank Launches a Package of Relief and Humanitarian Interventions in Various Governorates for Needy Families During the Blessed Month of Ramadan
Sada News - Palestine Bank announced the launch of a wide range of relief and humanitarian interventions coinciding with the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan, in a move that embodies its steadfast national and humanitarian commitment to support our people in light of the challenging economic and living conditions. This initiative comes in partnership with leading civil society institutions, namely Palestine Giving, Family Revival, Child House, and Cooperation, targeting shelters and needy families, in a bid to enhance social safety nets and contribute to reaching the most vulnerable groups across various governorates.
The campaign includes implementing a series of direct relief interventions, most notably distributing Ramadan breakfast meals to thousands of fasting individuals and displaced needy families, as part of the bank's efforts to alleviate the burdens of living challenges and to instill the values of solidarity and community solidarity, which are reflected in their finest forms during the holy month of Ramadan. The bank will also sponsor Ramadan iftar tables in cooperation with several community and charitable institutions, supporting their role in serving the community and enabling them to expand their humanitarian programs.
These combined initiatives affirm the bank's role as an active development partner in enhancing community resilience, embodying its institutional message which places the Palestinian individual and their dignity at the core of its priorities.
Humanitarian and Developmental Interventions within "Noor" and "Wajad" Programs During the Month of Giving
Furthermore, Palestine Bank will intensify its qualitative interventions throughout the blessed month of Ramadan, as a month of giving, solidarity, and community support, through Cooperation Foundation and via the "Noor" and "Wajad" programs that cater to orphans in the Gaza Strip, through a comprehensive package of humanitarian and developmental services aimed at meeting their basic needs and enhancing their social protection.
These interventions include distributing food parcels and clothing, implementing psychological and social support activities, providing healthcare through medical check-ups and treatment, in addition to rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities, and specialized nutritional interventions for children suffering from malnutrition and anemia. This reflects the bank's commitment to providing a comprehensive response that considers health, psychological, and developmental aspects for children, particularly during the holy month.
Thus, the bank will be able to provide an integrated protection umbrella that includes implementing educational and extracurricular activities that contribute to developing children's capabilities, enhancing their self-confidence, and integrating them into a supportive and stable community environment.
