"Education" and Ingez Palestine Conclude the 18th Edition of the Student Company Program and Announce the Winners in Rawabi
SadaNews: The Ingez Palestine Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, under the patronage and participation of Minister of Education and Higher Education Prof. Dr. Amjad Barham, held the closing ceremony of the 18th edition of the Student Company Program, in the city of Rawabi, which hosted the competition for the first time, with the participation of 20 student companies from schools and universities, attended by the city's founder Bashar Masri, and representatives from the public and private sectors, educational institutions, partners, and volunteers.
Minister Barham confirmed that Palestinians prove under various circumstances that education is an option that cannot be reversed, and that what the students presented in the competition embodies the spirit of creativity and determination that distinguishes Palestinian youth, commending the ongoing partnership between the ministry and the Ingez Palestine Foundation in promoting a culture of leadership and innovation within schools and universities.
In his opening speech, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ingez Palestine Foundation, Dr. Bassam Al-Lawil, stated that the continuation of the Student Company Program for the 18th year reflects the foundation's commitment to investing in Palestinian youth, despite the circumstances and challenges witnessed during the academic year. He pointed out that Ingez Palestine continued to implement its programs and reach students in various governorates, with a focus on maintaining work with students from the Gaza Strip and involving them in its programs, expressing gratitude to the city of Rawabi for hosting the ceremony, and appreciating the founder's presence and support for national initiatives aimed at empowering youth.
For his part, Mohammad Shour, the CEO of the Jerusalem Bank, expressed the bank's pride in sponsoring the Student Company competition, based on its belief in the importance of investing in youth and supporting entrepreneurial ideas, and enhancing the partnership between the banking sector and educational and developmental institutions in building a more innovative and sustainable Palestinian economy.
The ceremony featured student presenters Mira Fahmawi and Lotus Samour from EcoRock, who shared their journey from winning the national competition to representing Palestine at regional and global levels.
The results of the competition led to the victory of FANAN company from Talai' Al-Amal Secondary School, winning the title of Best Student Company for the year 2026 in the schools category, while EcoCool from Palestine Technical University - Khadouri won the title of Best Student Company in the universities category, representing Palestine in the regional Student Company competition.
Additionally, GUIDEXA from Al-Israa Secondary School for Boys won the Global Impact Award, and Nabd for Smart Emergency Solutions from Dura Secondary School for Girls won the Product of the Year 2026 award, while Feed Bee from Azoun - Beit Amin Secondary School received the Innovative Project award.
In the universities category, ThermoCatch from Al-Quds University won the Global Impact Award, while Talento from An-Najah National University received the Product of the Year 2026 award, and Enzora from Birzeit University won the Innovative Project award.
The General Director of the Ingez Palestine Foundation, Munther Zahran, announced the competition results, confirming that all participating teams presented outstanding entrepreneurial models that reflect the skills and experiences gained by the students during the program's journey.
The evaluation of the participating companies was carried out by a distinguished group of experts and representatives from the public and private sectors, with the schools jury including Assistant Undersecretary for Student Affairs at the Ministry of Education Sadiq Al-Khodor, the CEO of Jerusalem Bank Mohammad Shour, the Executive Director of the Businesswomen Forum in Palestine Noora Regaina Alawneh, and the General Director of Alpha International Research and Studies Company Iyad Harsha.
As for the universities jury, it included the Head of the Guidance and Orientation Unit and Student Affairs at the Ministry of Education Ayman Houdli, the General Director of the National Company for Carton Industry Engineer Abd al-Nasser Dweikat, the CEO of the Palestinian Trade Center (PalTrade) Rowa Jabr, and expert in public financial management and institutional reform and development financing Ghassan Nimrouti.
The ceremony also witnessed the honoring of sponsors and partners, led by Jerusalem Bank, the diamond sponsor of the Student Company competition, in appreciation for its role in supporting Palestinian youth and promoting a culture of leadership and innovation.
The Ingez Palestine Foundation also honored the Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), the sponsor of the Student Company Program, and the award was received by the Director of Contracts Management at the company Sami Musleh.
Additionally, the foundation honored Anabtawi Company, the golden sponsor, and the event partners PALPAY, and National Beverage Company - Coca-Cola/Kabi, alongside the media sponsors Watan Network and Raya Network, in recognition of their role in supporting the program and ensuring the success of its activities.
The ceremony concluded with the emphasis on continuing the Student Company Program's message in empowering Palestinian youth and establishing a culture of leadership and innovation, in line with this year's competition slogan: "Today's Ideas... Tomorrow's Companies."
