Quds Bank, the Diamond Sponsor of the Student Company Competition 2026 Organized by the Injaz Palestine Foundation
SadaNews - Quds Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Palestinian youth and enhancing the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation through its diamond sponsorship of the Student Company Competition for 2026 organized by the Injaz Palestine Foundation in the city of Rawabi, with wide participation from student companies from various governorates, and in the presence of prominent official, economic, and educational figures.
The event was inaugurated in the city of Rawabi in the presence of the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Amjad Barham, the head of the Environmental Quality Authority, Engineer Zghoul Samhan, businessman Bashar Al-Masri, the Chairman of the Board of Injaz Palestine, Mr. Bassem Al-Luwail, and the CEO of Quds Bank, Mr. Mohammed Shawar, along with representatives from partner and supporting institutions, as well as a number of official figures and representatives from both the public and private sectors, and a crowd of interested individuals in the educational and entrepreneurial fields.
In his speech during the event, the CEO of Quds Bank, Mohammed Shawar, emphasized that investing in Palestinian youth represents a real investment in the future of the nation, pointing out that the bank places great importance on supporting educational and entrepreneurial initiatives that contribute to building a generation capable of innovation, competition, and creating opportunities.
Shawar said: "At Quds Bank, we will continue to believe in you, support your ideas, and partner in your success, as we see in every Palestinian youth a new success story, and in every innovative idea an opportunity to build a stronger Palestinian economy and a brighter future."
The competition activities included field evaluation rounds carried out by specialized judging committees that reviewed the projects of the participating student companies and listened to student presentations, where the projects were evaluated based on criteria of innovation, sustainability, economic viability, and social impact, ensuring the selection of the best initiatives qualified to compete for the top places.
The rounds also provided students the opportunity to present their entrepreneurial experiences and achievements before the committee members, reflecting the level of creativity and development achieved by the student companies during the program period.
The event concluded with a special ceremony to announce the results and honor the winning companies, attended by the Minister of Education and Higher Education, the head of the Environmental Quality Authority, businessman Bashar Al-Masri, along with representatives from partner and supporting institutions and a crowd of participants and individuals interested in the educational and entrepreneurial fields.
The results of the competition revealed that the Talai Al-Amal School won first place at the school level, and Palestine Technical University-Khadouri won first place at the university level, to represent Palestine in the regional competition hosted by Egypt.
