The National Bank Supports the Launch of the First Specialized Program in Economic and Banking Journalism in Palestine

SadaNews - In a qualitative step aimed at enhancing financial and banking culture among young Palestinian journalists, and in partnership with the Palestinian Media Development Foundation, the National Bank is funding the first specialized project in economic and banking journalism in Palestine (the Economic and Banking Media Project), implemented by the Palestinian Media Development Foundation, targeting graduates of media colleges from the current year and the past two years.

This program is the first of its kind in Palestine, designed to develop the knowledge and skills of young journalists and media professionals in the fields of economics and banking, thereby enhancing their understanding of Palestinian economic and banking issues, and solidifying their awareness of the banking sector's role in supporting economic development.
The Palestinian Media Development Foundation confirmed that the project comes in response to the growing need for specialized media personnel in the economic and banking sectors, capable of covering and analyzing financial issues with professionalism and responsibility, thereby contributing to the improvement of the quality of economic media content in Palestine.

The foundation expressed its appreciation for the National Bank's support of this pioneering project, stressing that the bank's contribution to this initiative reflects its commitment to developing national competencies and enhances its role as a banking institution that invests in building the capacities of youth and supporting sustainable development.

The program will contribute to preparing a new generation of young journalists capable of producing professional and specialized economic and banking content that raises financial awareness among citizens and supports efforts aimed at enhancing economic culture and financial inclusion in Palestinian society.
