Nua'allim Foundation for Palestine Delivers Laptops to the National Institute for Educational Training with Support from Bank of Palestine

SadaNews - As part of its commitment to support the education and training sector and within the capacity-building program for primary stage teachers (grades 1-4) of the second batch, Nua'allim Foundation for Palestine has delivered several laptops to the National Institute for Educational Training for distribution to 60 trainee teachers, with support from Bank of Palestine, aimed at enhancing the quality of education and improving the technological infrastructure in Palestinian schools.

The laptops were delivered during an official meeting held at the institute's headquarters, attended by Dr. Tufida al-Jarbaawi, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Nua'allim Foundation for Palestine, Dr. Suhair Qassem, General Director of the National Institute for Educational Training, and Mr. Kamal al-Husseini, Director of the Department of Relations and Strategic Cooperation at Bank of Palestine, alongside representatives from partner organizations.

In her remarks, Dr. Tufida al-Jarbaawi confirmed that this support aligns with the foundation’s vision of empowering teachers in partner schools with digital learning tools and enhancing access to quality education and training that meets contemporary requirements, emphasizing the importance of partnerships with governmental, private, and civil sectors in creating a sustainable educational impact.

For her part, Dr. Suhair Qassem expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Nua'allim Foundation for Palestine and Bank of Palestine for this support, confirming that providing laptops will directly contribute to improving the quality of education and enabling teachers to acquire practical digital skills that enhance their professional readiness.

Mr. Kamal al-Husseini pointed out that supporting education and training is a key pillar in the bank's corporate social responsibility strategy, affirming the bank's continued efforts to enhance initiatives that contribute to building the capacities of teachers and promoting sustainable development in Palestine.

It is noteworthy that Nua'allim Foundation for Palestine is dedicated to providing quality education for Palestinian students in the lower primary stage by developing the skills of new teachers in areas such as inclusive education, life skills, digitalization, employing the STEAM methodology, psychological and social support, and climate education. The foundation is also keen to enhance classroom environments by providing educational resources, technological devices, and equipping classrooms in partner schools.
