The Gulf Cooperation Council Calls on the International Community to Take Serious and Real Steps to Stop and Condemn Iranian Attacks
SadaNews - The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi, on Monday called on the international community to "take serious and real steps to stop and condemn these attacks and military actions that have exceeded and demolished all international and global agreements, treaties, and laws."
Al-Budaiwi participated in a joint summit between the European Union, representatives of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and leaders from Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, via video conference, to discuss and address the Iranian aggressions.
Al-Budaiwi indicated that the participation of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the meeting comes to "mobilize regional and international efforts to stop and condemn the brutal Iranian aggressions against its member states and to end the military actions in the region, which have severely and unprecedentedly destabilized security and stability, as the unjustifiable and illegal Iranian aggression has targeted the infrastructure and oil facilities in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, resulting in numerous fatalities and various injuries among innocent civilians."
