The Israeli Security System Estimates the Gradual Collapse of the Iranian Regime, Not During War

SadaNews - The Israeli security system estimates a "gradual collapse" scenario for the Iranian authorities, and not during the war, according to a news report on Sunday. Israeli Channel 12 reported that closed discussions are taking place in Israel regarding political and strategic issues related to the overthrow of the Iranian regime, and not solely related to military matters, pointing out that "one of the prominent scenarios proposed by the security system can be termed 'gradual collapse', as no one can guarantee the regime's fall during war." The report mentioned that several scenarios were raised in the discussions of the Israeli security system, "but among the most prominent and likely is the scenario of the battle ending while the current regime remains intact, or in another form, but weakened. Then, the gradual collapse of the regime may begin." The report noted that the main goal in Israel is to create the necessary conditions for the regime's overthrow, whether during the war against Iran or afterward. According to the report, a set of circumstances could lead to the regime's collapse, including that "the deteriorating economic situation in Iran is likely to worsen after the tough war," or there could be a "general sense of hatred among the majority of the Iranian people towards the regime's actions." Additionally, a "potential alternative leadership, ongoing internal unrest among citizens (Iranians)," along with a "maximum pressure campaign" from a regional alliance, or "intensive international diplomatic intervention on Iran" could also contribute to this. The "New York Times" reported on Sunday evening, quoting unnamed American military officials, that "the heavy losses have shown that Iran is more prepared than the Trump administration anticipated." “Cracks” The report cited senior Israeli political sources familiar with the discussions in Israel, stating that "the cracks in leadership, the Revolutionary Guard, military leadership, and field ranks are clear. There is a sharp decline in motivation." The same sources claimed that "base leaders are forcing their soldiers to carry out shooting operations themselves, because the soldiers are scared, and in Tehran, there are no longer any internal security or Revolutionary Guard headquarters providing protection." They added that "the situation will only worsen, aiming for the gradual collapse of Iran."
