Police: 106 Shrapnel Instances in Various Governorates Resulted in Two Injuries and 12 Cases of Property Damage

SadaNews: The police spokesperson, Major Luay Arzeeqat, stated that the number of shrapnel incidents dealt with since the beginning of the events in various governorates has reached 106 instances, resulting in two injuries and 12 cases of property damage for citizens. All reports regarding the falling shrapnel were handled with the support of the relevant authorities, securing the sites and removing hazardous materials according to the approved safety procedures, in order to protect the citizens and their properties.

Arzeeqat clarified in statements made today, Monday, that the police are monitoring field events around the clock to address any new reports, urging citizens not to approach or attempt to touch or move any fallen objects or shrapnel, as they may pose a risk to their lives.

He also emphasized the necessity of immediate reporting via the emergency number (100) upon noticing any suspicious objects or fallen shrapnel, leaving the handling of these incidents to the specialized teams, in order to ensure public safety.

Arzeeqat pointed out that the police continue to educate citizens about the importance of adhering to safety guidelines, wishing safety to everyone.
