Ben Gvir: Residents of all Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem are eligible for gun licenses
SadaNews - Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir announced today, Monday, that residents of all Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem will be eligible to obtain gun licenses.
The Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz" reported that 300,000 people in Jerusalem, living in 41 different neighborhoods, will enter the eligibility circle for obtaining a gun license.
Ben Gvir launched a policy for arming Israelis, including settlers in the occupied West Bank, at the end of 2023 after the outbreak of the Israeli genocide war on the Gaza Strip.
Settlers are almost daily launching terrorist attacks using firearms against citizens in the occupied West Bank, forcibly displacing them and seizing their lands and properties.
