Occupation Tightens Military Measures in the Jordan Valley

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces tightened their military measures today, Monday, at the Tayasir and Ein Shibli checkpoints in the northern Jordan Valley.

Local sources reported that the occupation intensified its military measures at the two checkpoints, resulting in severe traffic congestion.

According to a report from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the number of military checkpoints and gates in the Palestinian territories has exceeded 916, of which 243 gates were erected after October 7, 2023.

Yesterday, the governorates of the West Bank experienced severe military tightening imposed by Israeli occupation forces, which included the closure of several military checkpoints and iron gates, as well as increased inspection procedures, leading to obstacles in the movement of citizens between cities and towns.
