UAE Condemns Attacks by Settlers in the West Bank

SadaNews - The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the assaults carried out by settlers on the villages of the occupied West Bank, the latest of which was the burning of a mosque in Tulkarm, which is considered a provocative and inciting act against Muslims and an act of extremism.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned, in a press statement last night, about the repeated assaults by settlers, calling on the Israeli government to take full responsibility, condemn these practices, and punish those responsible. It emphasized that any negligence in this regard would be considered an implicit approval that would deepen the cycle of hatred, racism, and instability.

The UAE also called on the international community to assume its responsibility in stopping the Israeli violations and to avoid further escalation of the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the region. It stressed the necessity of supporting all regional and international efforts to resurrect the peace process in the Middle East to achieve comprehensive and just peace, as well as to put an end to the illegal practices that threaten the two-state solution.
