Oil Loading Halted at Omani Port After Iranian Attack
SadaNews - Two informed sources reported that the Sultanate of Oman's Al-Fahal port has halted crude oil loading following an explosion that occurred near the mooring quays.
The sources mentioned that the explosion took place between piers 1 and 2 as a result of what is believed to be a drone attack.
Several countries in the Gulf have recently been subjected to Iranian drone attacks.
Iran claims that its attacks target American military sites used to carry out attacks against it. Meanwhile, Gulf countries deny this, asserting that vital facilities belonging to them have been targeted.
This comes amidst ongoing U.S.-Iranian talks mediated by Pakistan and other countries, although these have yet to result in a comprehensive ceasefire agreement as each party remains firm on its conditions.
