Settlers Burn Agricultural Lands South of Nablus
SadaNews - Settlers set fire to agricultural areas south of Nablus this Wednesday evening.
Local sources reported that settlers attacked lands between the towns of Awdeila and Hawara south of Nablus, igniting fires in the wheat crops, which resulted in their burning.
They stated that a number of settlers attacked the lands of the Sawiya plain south of Nablus, setting fires in the area which led to a blaze that spread to the surrounding lands of the town of Al-Lubban Al-Sharqi to the south.
They added that settlers launched an attack on the southern outskirts of the village of Burin, igniting fires in the lands surrounding the homes.
This follows a day after settlers set fire to rubber tires and threw them towards the agricultural lands along the road between Sawiya and Al-Lubban Al-Sharqi south of Nablus, which resulted in widespread burning of wheat crops and olive trees.
