More than 26,000 travelers transit through the Karama crossing last week

SadaNews - 26,000 citizens and visitors transited through the Karama crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 37 individuals wanted by the judiciary.

The number of departures during the week was (14,192) people, while the number of incoming travelers was (11,767) people, and the flow of travelers was moderate.

During the same period, the police arrested (37) individuals wanted by the judiciary and banned from traveling, either while attempting to leave through the crossing, or upon their arrival while entering Palestinian territories. They are wanted in cases raised before the courts and the public prosecutor.

The police and all security and civil agencies in the General Authority for Crossings and Borders provided many facilities and services to all citizens, including coordinating travel for (9) medical cases between both sides of the crossing using Palestinian ambulance vehicles.
