Medical Sources Warn: Severe Drug Shortage in Gaza Threatens the Lives of Thousands of Patients
SadaNews - Medical sources warned of a serious deterioration in the availability of medicines and medical consumables in the Gaza Strip, exacerbating the health crisis and threatening the lives of thousands of patients.
The sources explained that 250 patients with kidney failure are at risk of being deprived of dialysis sessions due to the unavailability of Bibag solution, and 8 children among the patients may see their treatment sessions suspended due to a lack of necessary filters.
Additionally, the absence of insulin injections complicates the health conditions of approximately 11,000 diabetes patients, while 110 hemophilia patients face severe suffering due to a shortage of "VACTOR" treatment.
