Widespread Raids and Arrests in the West Bank
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread raid campaign at dawn and on Thursday morning in several cities and towns in the West Bank, which included arrests, home raids, and searches, as well as clashes in some areas.
In Hebron Governorate, the forces stormed the Singar area and Abu Kteila neighborhood, as well as raided homes in the Jaber neighborhood and the town of Beit Kahil, northwest of the city.
Local sources reported that the forces detained a number of women and their children during the raid on two homes in Jaber neighborhood, before taking them to a military checkpoint and preventing them from returning to their homes, amidst searches and rummaging through the contents of the houses.
In Nablus city, the occupation forces stormed the city from the direction of the Elon Moreh settlement and raided homes in the Askar al-Balad area and Ain Kakoub in the al-Masaken mountain east of the city. The incursions also included the village of Tal southwest of Nablus and the eastern area of the city.
In Ramallah, the forces stormed the Jalazone camp north of the city and the village of Abwein to the northwest of it, carrying out raids and searches inside citizens' homes.
In Tubas Governorate, the occupation forces arrested a young man from the Faraa camp after summoning him for interrogation. Kamel Bani Odeh, the head of the Prisoners Club in Tubas, explained that the young man, Youssef Amer Youssef Sobhi, was arrested after being summoned to Salem military camp for interrogation.
These incursions come within the context of ongoing operations in the cities and towns of the West Bank, which are characterized by arrests, raids, and field detentions.
