Three Women from Kafr Manda Die in Horrific Road Accident Near Zarzir

SadaNews - A horrific road accident that occurred today, Sunday, near the village of Zarzir in the Galilee region of northern Israel, resulted in the death of three women from Kafr Manda.

Local sources reported that the women who lost their lives in the road accident near Zarzir are: Sanaa Saleh Taha (56 years old), Ola Qadih Zoghbi (46 years old), and the young woman Ranin Mohammed Maarouf Taha (26 years old).

With this, the number of road accident victims today has risen to 7, along with several varying injuries.

Medical teams reported that the road accident, which involved a truck, a small passenger bus, and several vehicles on Highway 77 near the Zarzir intersection, concluded with the confirmation of the deaths of the three women who were passengers in one of the vehicles, aged between 30 and 40 years.

Additionally, the teams provided treatment to several injured individuals at the scene, who were transported to hospitals, including a 39-year-old woman in critical condition due to chest and abdominal injuries, and another 39-year-old woman in moderate condition suffering from multiple injuries, alongside five others whose conditions were described as mild.

According to official data released by the "National Road Safety Authority", 134 citizens, including 58 Arabs from the country, have lost their lives from the beginning of the year until today in various road accidents on the country's roads.

In the last year, 455 people, including 152 Arab citizens, lost their lives in road accidents on various roads in the country.

Furthermore, 439 people, including 158 Arab citizens, died in road accidents during 2024, while 361 people, including 98 Arab citizens, lost their lives in road accidents in 2023.

In 2022, 352 people died, including 115 Arab citizens, in road accidents, while in 2021, 369 victims were reported, including 109 Arab citizens, and 306 victims, including 99 Arabs, in 2020, and 355, including 110 Arab citizens, in 2019.
