Young man suffers serious burns due to house fire in Al-Muqaybila

SadaNews - A young man in his twenties suffered serious injuries today, Wednesday, following a fire that broke out inside a house in the town of Al-Muqaybila, located in the southeastern part of Merj Ibn Amer. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Medical teams explained that the young man was exposed to burns and heavy smoke inhalation, and he was evacuated to "Haemek" Hospital in the city of Afula, where his condition was described as critical.

Paramedic Majdi Muhammedi stated that the medical team provided first aid to the injured person on-site before transporting him under anesthesia and connected to a respirator.

For its part, a spokesperson from the "Fire and Rescue Authority" reported that five teams worked to extinguish the fire that broke out inside a residential apartment in the town.

He added that the teams faced heavy smoke rising from a four-story building, as they entered the burning apartment and carried out extinguishing operations and searches, which resulted in the rescue of an individual in critical condition who was handed over to the medical teams.
