Fatah Participates in Celebrations in Colleferro City Marking Italy's Liberation from Fascism

SadaNews - The Fatah movement – Italy Region, represented by Dr. Ghada Shahada, participated in the celebrations in Colleferro City marking Italy's Liberation Day from fascism, as part of a series of national events witnessed by the city with a broad official and popular attendance.

Shahada delivered a speech on behalf of the Fatah movement in Italy, congratulating the Italian people on this historic occasion, praising the values of freedom and the struggle against oppression, and calling on the world's free people to stand by the Palestinian right and support the just Palestinian cause, which enables the Palestinian people to attain their freedom and soon celebrate the Liberation of Palestine.

In her speech, she emphasized that the struggle of the Palestinian people is a legitimate right guaranteed by international laws, stressing their right to live in just peace, freedom, and independence. The event also included a presentation of touching humanitarian testimonies, including the testimony of a Palestinian woman coming from Gaza to receive treatment in Italy, who recounted her suffering and that of her family, as well as the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by the Palestinian people.

Shahada highlighted the daily violations experienced by Palestinians in the West Bank, including destruction, arrests, and killings, stressing the need for international action to halt these practices.

The ceremony was presided over by Professor Amalia Perfetti, president of the ANPI organization in Colleferro, while the city's mayor, Pier Luigi Sana, delivered a speech on the occasion, emphasizing the importance of commemorating liberation and promoting the values of freedom and democracy.

The event witnessed a wide attendance of representatives from national, popular, and partisan forces, along with a large number of members of the Palestinian community and friends of the Palestinian people in Italy.
