Reception of the Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation at its headquarters in Jeddah

SadaNews - On May 4, 2026, at the headquarters of the Permanent Delegation of the State of Palestine to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the city of Jeddah, Ambassador Hadi Shibli, the Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the organization, received Dr. Nasser Qataami, the advisor to the Prime Minister for Arab and Islamic funds, in the presence of Second Secretary Aathar Amri.

During the meeting, ways to enhance joint cooperation with Arab and Islamic funds were discussed, as well as mechanisms for supporting and financing upcoming developmental projects, which contribute to improving the living conditions of the Palestinian people. The two sides also addressed the importance of coordinating efforts with institutions engaged in Islamic joint work, including the Islamic Solidarity Fund, to support vital sectors and strengthen the resilience of the Palestinian people.

Both parties emphasized the necessity of continuing joint efforts and intensifying endeavors to mobilize the necessary resources for implementing priority programs and projects, achieving sustainable development, and enhancing economic and social stability in the Palestinian territories.
