Fatah National Liberation Movement in Austria Announces Official Visit to the Palestinian Embassy in Vienna

SadaNews - The Fatah National Liberation Movement, Austria Chapter, issued a press release announcing their visit to the Palestinian embassy in the capital, Vienna.

The statement from the Fatah Movement, Austria Chapter, read as follows:

As part of reinforcing national unity and enhancing integration among the organizational frameworks and institutions of the State of Palestine, a delegation from the Fatah National Liberation Movement’s region in Austria conducted an official visit to the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Vienna, where they were received by His Excellency Ambassador Salah Abdel Shafi and His Excellency Chief Counselor Ihab Al-Ghul.

This visit came in the context of shared national responsibility, where the latest political developments on the Palestinian scene were discussed, as well as the conditions of the Palestinian community in Austria, in addition to discussing mechanisms for developing joint work and enhancing ongoing coordination between the embassy, community institutions, and national frameworks, in a way that serves the interests of our people and strengthens their resilience and adherence to their legitimate national rights.

Both sides emphasized the importance of unifying efforts and integrating roles among the various Palestinian national institutions, which enhances the presence of the Palestinian cause, preserves national unity in the face of current challenges, and serves the liberation national project.

For his part, the Secretary of the Fatah region in Austria, Brother Raafat Abu Madi, expressed his pride and appreciation for the national and diplomatic efforts exerted by His Excellency the Ambassador and the Chief Counselor, praising their active role in following up on the affairs of the Palestinian community and their continued support for all national, social, and cultural activities.

Abu Madi also affirmed that this active presence reflects a sincere national commitment to strengthening the relationship with community members and instilling a spirit of belonging and unity, contributing to serving the Palestinian issue in various forums.

In turn, His Excellency Ambassador Salah Abdel Shafi welcomed the regional delegation, affirming that the Embassy of the State of Palestine will remain the national incubator for all community members and will continue to play its struggle and diplomatic role in serving our people and enhancing the presence of our just cause on the international stage.

At the end of the visit, the regional delegation presented a symbolic gift as a token of appreciation and respect for the efforts made, reaffirming the continuation of joint work and ongoing coordination in a way that enhances national unity and serves our people’s goals for freedom and independence.
