The Palestinian Community in Bremen Organizes an Exhibition to Revive Heritage on the Anniversary of the Nakba

SadaNews - The Palestinian community in the German city of Bremen organized an exhibition of Palestinian handicrafts, commemorating the Nakba, with extensive participation from members of Arab and Islamic communities, in addition to German supporters and participants from other European countries.

The exhibition aims to revive Palestinian heritage and raise awareness of the Palestinian cause by showcasing the cultural and artisanal heritage of the Palestinian people, while the proceeds of the exhibition were designated to support our people in the Gaza Strip.

The exhibition included various sections showcasing Palestinian handicrafts, including traditional embroidery, along with a special corner for the keffiyeh and traditional clothing, reflecting the depth and diversity of Palestinian cultural identity.

The president of the Palestinian community in Bremen, Samer Bilal Aslan, who is also the deputy chairman of the German-Palestinian Association, stated that the exhibition is part of the community's efforts to keep the Palestinian cause present in people's minds and inform the world about what is happening to the Palestinian people, as well as to promote Palestinian heritage, which is inseparable from national identity. He called for the necessity of organizing more cultural events to preserve Palestinian heritage as a symbol of the struggle against occupation.
