Sada News - The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemned the opening of a so-called "Somaliland" embassy in the city of occupied Jerusalem, emphasizing that this action is illegal and constitutes a blatant violation of the United Nations Charter and its relevant resolutions.

The General Secretariat affirmed that Israel, the occupying power, has no sovereignty over the city of occupied Jerusalem, and that all decisions and actions aimed at changing its political, legal, or demographic status are considered void and null under international law.

The General Secretariat reiterated its complete solidarity with the Federal Republic of Somalia and its unwavering support for its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, calling on the international community to take a firm stance against this illegal step and to counter it.
