Iraqji: Lebanon is a party to the agreement and official implementation begins on Friday
SadaNews - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed that Lebanon is a key party in the agreement recently reached, noting that the official implementation of the memorandum of understanding will begin next Friday.
He clarified that ending the war in Lebanon is an integral part of ending the war with Iran, which includes the withdrawal of Israel from Lebanese territories.
Araqchi added that the announcement of the immediate and definitive end of the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, was issued on Monday morning, considering that this announcement represents the most significant achievement in the first phase of the agreement. He emphasized that any military attack by the Zionist entity on Lebanon or the continuation of the occupation is a violation of the memorandum of understanding.
He pointed out that the memorandum of understanding stipulates that the first party is the United States and Israel, while the second party is Iran and Hezbollah. He confirmed that ending the war in Lebanon is a binding condition for ending the war with Iran, and negotiations with Washington will continue for 60 days, during which the nuclear file and sanctions will be discussed.
The Iranian Foreign Minister indicated that the final phase of the negotiations will include discussing the nuclear file and lifting the sanctions, emphasizing that the official start of implementing the memorandum on Friday represents a pivotal step in the path of the agreement.
