Trump Sends Messages to Iran, Israel, and Syria at G7 Summit
SadaNews: President Donald Trump sent messages to Iran, Israel, and Syria during his speech on Tuesday at the G7 summit held in France.
Trump stated that the main goal of the agreement with Iran is to prevent it from acquiring nuclear weapons, warning that "hell" will befall them if they do.
He expressed his belief that "the agreement with Iran is fair," praising the "wise leadership now" in Tehran.
He added that the United States is not obligated to invest in Iran, following its agreement with them to end the war in the Middle East. He continued: "We will not invest any money in Iran."
He considered that "psychologically we want to obtain enriched uranium from Iran," without clarifying what he meant by that statement.
Trump also urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to "act more responsibly towards Lebanon," as he put it.
Despite affirming that he has an excellent relationship with Netanyahu, the American president added that he "conveyed to Israel his dissatisfaction with its recent attack on Beirut."
Trump announced that he "suggested that Syria handle Hezbollah instead of Israel."
He said: "If Israel cannot carry out the mission (in Lebanon) without killing others, then Syria should do it."
