Rescuing the Life of a Child Who Drowned in Jericho
SadaNews - The Tourism and Antiquities Police in the Jericho and Jordan Valley Governorate managed to save the life of a seven-month-old girl after she was involved in a drowning incident in a swimming pool at one of the tourist villas in Jericho.
The police stated that a patrol from the Tourism and Antiquities Police was conducting a routine tour in the city when they noticed a vehicle in a position that required stopping and checking. Upon approaching the vehicle, it became apparent that a family from Beersheba was in distress after their child had drowned while they were at one of the tourist villas.
Immediately, the patrol transported the child to the nearest medical center for first aid, and then they called for ambulance crews to take her to the Government Hospital in Jericho for further treatment, where her condition was described as moderate, and she was admitted to the intensive care unit for medical monitoring.
The police confirmed that the quick response and immediate intervention by the patrol members played a crucial role in saving the child's life and providing the necessary care in a timely manner.
