19,000 travelers crossed through the Karama crossing last week
SadaNews - 19,000 citizens and visitors crossed through the Karama crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 55 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of departures during the week was (9,443) individuals, while the number of incoming travelers was (9,527) individuals, indicating a moderate flow of travelers.
During the same period, the police arrested (55) people wanted by the judiciary, who were prohibited from traveling, either while attempting to leave through the crossing or while anticipating their arrival when entering the Palestinian territories. They are wanted in cases pending before the courts and the public prosecution.
The police, along with all security and civil agencies in the General Directorate of Crossings and Borders, provided many facilities and services to all citizens, including coordination for 6 medical cases for travel between both sides of the crossing using Palestinian ambulances.
