Person Killed in Shooting in Herzliya... Police: "The Background is Criminal"
SadaNews - A 45-year-old man was killed after suffering critical injuries from gunfire on Rachel Street in Herzliya in the early hours of the night. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where resuscitation efforts were underway.
His identity has not yet been revealed, but police suggest that the incident may have a criminal background, though no further details have been disclosed at this time; this crime occurs amid a rise in violence and crime in the Arab community.
Emergency crews reported that they arrived at the scene to find the victim unconscious, with no pulse or breathing. They immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts before transporting him to "Meir" Hospital in Kfar Saba, where he was in extremely critical condition.
Paramedics stated that "the victim was lying on the ground unconscious, and we began providing immediate treatment, which included advanced resuscitation, before transporting him urgently to the hospital."
Later on, medical teams at the hospital announced the victim's death as a result of his injuries.
For its part, the Israeli police announced that they have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident following a report of gunfire targeting a man in Herzliya, indicating that their forces began collecting evidence at the crime scene, while no suspects have been arrested yet.
