Two Injured in Attacks by Occupation Forces and Settlers in the West Bank and Jerusalem
SadaNews - Two citizens were injured this evening, Monday, as a result of an attack by settlers on them in Beita, south of Nablus.
Local sources reported that settlers stormed "Jabal Sabih" in Beita and attacked two citizens, leading to their injury with bruises.
In the same context, settlers attacked the "Abu Zaitoun" area located in Beit Dajan east of Nablus, and closed a street there with stones.
Settlers had previously attacked the village of Douma south of Nablus, releasing their sheep among the homes of citizens in the area classified as "B", in a provocative manner, and they also closed a street with stones inside the village, according to what was reported by the head of the village council, Suleiman Dawabsha.
Meanwhile, occupation forces stormed several villages in Nablus Governorate.
Security and local sources reported that the stormings affected the villages of: Burqa, Douma, Qabalan, and Awda.
The same sources added that the occupation forces detained a number of citizens in Burqa, as they raided commercial shops in Burqa and Qabalan, searched them, and wreaked havoc inside.
Another force stormed the village of al-Mughayer, northeast of Ramallah, and set up a military checkpoint on the Yabrud – Silwad road.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces spread in the streets of the village, without any reports of arrests or injuries so far, while the military checkpoint hindered the movement of citizens and vehicles.
The villages and towns in northeastern Ramallah, including al-Mughayer, Yabrud, and Silwad, are experiencing repeated incursions and tight military measures, including the establishment of checkpoints and road closures, which impede citizens' movement and increase their daily suffering.
In this context, settlers stormed the village of Khan al-Ahmar, east of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that a group of settlers stormed the village, attempting to provoke the residents and attack them.
The Bedouin communities east of Jerusalem, especially Khan al-Ahmar, are subjected to repeated attacks by settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, as part of policies aimed at displacing the population in favor of colonial expansion.
