More than 20,000 travelers passed through the Karama crossing last week
SadaNews - More than 20,000 citizens and visitors crossed the Karama crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 38 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of departing travelers during the week reached (11,707) people, while the number of incoming travelers was (8,631) people, and the movement of travelers was light.
During the same period, the police arrested (38) individuals who were wanted by the judiciary and banned from traveling, either while attempting to leave through the crossing or while expecting to arrive upon entering the Palestinian territories, as they were wanted in cases pending before the courts and the public prosecution.
The police, along with all security and civil agencies in the General Administration of Crossings and Borders, provided many facilities and services to all citizens, including coordination for (5) medical cases for travel between both sides of the crossing in Palestinian ambulances.
