The Presidency Condemns the Terrorist Attacks by Settlers on Villages and Camps and Holds the Occupation Responsible for the Serious Escalation

SadaNews - The Palestinian presidency strongly condemned the terrorist attacks carried out by settler gangs against villages, gatherings, and camps in the West Bank, asserting that these assaults represent a serious escalation for which the Israeli occupation government bears full responsibility.

At the same time, the Palestinian presidency praised the joint statement issued by the missions of Belgium, Canada, Denmark, the European Union, Ireland, Finland, France, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Switzerland, which strongly condemns the rise of "settler terrorism" and the violence perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian communities. It considers these positions a significant step that should be followed by practical and serious actions from the international community to take practical measures to stop these violations, hold the perpetrators accountable, and provide protection for our defenseless people.

It emphasized that the killing of citizens, burning of property, and acts of violence are organized and systematic actions occurring under the protection of occupation forces and supported by the far-right government, aimed at implementing annexation and racial expansion plans and displacement. It reaffirmed the importance of activating and supporting popular protection committees.

The presidency confirmed the importance of enhancing the resilience mechanisms of our people, emphasizing that the Palestinian people will remain steadfast on their land, adhering to their legitimate national rights, despite all forms of terrorism and murder they are subjected to by the occupation and its terrorist settlers. Security and stability in the region cannot be achieved without a just solution to the Palestinian issue in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, the Arab Peace Initiative, and international law.
