In Abu Dhabi, the Ministry of Defense stated that the Emirati air defenses dealt early this morning with missile and drone attacks coming from Iran.
The ministry confirmed, in a statement reported by the Emirati news agency, that the sounds heard in various parts of the state were a result of the interception by both the air defense systems of ballistic missiles and fighter jets of drones and cruise missiles.
On Thursday, the Emirati defenses dealt with 7 ballistic missiles and 15 drones, bringing the total since the onset of the Iranian attacks to 334 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1714 drones.

Since February 28, Iran has been launching attacks on what it claims are American bases and interests in Arab countries, but some of these attacks have resulted in casualties and damage to civilian facilities, which those countries condemned, calling for an end to the assaults.
In just 18 days, Iran targeted these countries with no less than 4,192 missiles and drones, in addition to an attack involving two fighter jets, according to a count conducted by Anadolu Agency based on official data.
