Wafa Delivers Lithotripsy Machine to Al-Amal Hospital in Jenin
SadaNews - As part of its ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian health sector, Wafa Development and Capacity Building Foundation announced the delivery of a lithotripsy machine to Al-Amal Hospital in Jenin Governorate, with a total value of $285,000, generously funded by the International Islamic Charitable Organization in Kuwait.
The machine has been installed and put into operation to enhance the treatment services for kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the quality of healthcare provided to patients in the northern West Bank.
This intervention comes in response to the growing needs of the hospital in light of the current challenges and difficult circumstances in Palestine, where the medical staff has begun a specialized training program to ensure the efficient provision of medical services according to the best standards of quality and safety.
Wafa Foundation reaffirms its commitment to continue supporting and empowering the Palestinian health sector, contributing to improving access to essential medical services for the most needy populations, while also appreciating the role of the State of Kuwait, its leadership, government, and people, for their ongoing support for the Palestinian people.
