Occupation continues to tighten its military measures in the West Bank governorates

SadaNews - The Israeli occupation forces continue, for the second consecutive day, to tighten their military measures in the West Bank governorates by closing barriers, entrances to cities, towns, and villages, and obstructing the movement of citizens.

In Ramallah, the occupation forces tightened their procedures around the governorate, closing several barriers to citizen movement in both directions, including the entrances of Atara, Rawabi, Jisr Yabrud, Turmus'ayya, Singil, Nabi Saleh, Abboud, Deir Abu Mash'al, and Beit Ur.

They also closed two one-way entrances: the northern entrance to the city of al-Bireh is closed for outbound traffic, and Ain Sinya entrance is closed for outbound traffic.

In Salfit, the occupation forces closed the northern entrance of Salfit, Deir Ballut, Qarawe, Haris, Kifl Haris, the al-Abara road, Marda, Rafat, Kafr Deek, Buroqin, Deir Istiya, and Yasuf.

In Bethlehem, the occupation forces closed the main street leading to the towns of Battir, Nahhalin, and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fuqeen with a metal gate, and also closed the entrances to the town of al-Khader: "al-Manasheer," and "al-Sadr," as well as the associations and housing areas in Beit Jala.

They also set up a military checkpoint under "the bridge" in the Aqbat Hasna area leading to the western countryside, preventing vehicles from passing, which led to severe traffic congestion in the area.

In Hebron, the occupation forces closed the following: Ras al-Joura, Sa'ir, Nabi Yunus, Al-Fahs, Zif, the bridge of Halhul, Bani Naim, Tarqumiyah, and al-Aroub.

In Nablus governorate, the occupation forces closed the entrances of: Itma, Surra, Awarta, the Square, Oudla, al-Sawiya, Jammain, and Beit Furik.
