Two Young Men from Deir Assad Die in Road Accident in Golan

SadaNews - Two young men from Deir Assad lost their lives in a road accident that occurred in the Golan, involving a car and a motorcycle.

Local sources reported that the victims of the road accident were 22-year-old Ali Waseem Naama and 25-year-old Jalal Hassan Sadiq Omar.

A medical team that arrived at the accident site stated, "The accident occurred on Highway 869" in the Golan, indicating that it was due to a collision of a car with a motorcycle occupied by two individuals.

It was noted that the paramedics "performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation, confirming the death of a 25-year-old young man after sustaining multiple injuries to various parts of his body."

Additionally, it was reported that "additional medical teams transported a young man to the northern medical center ("Poria") in critical condition, suffering from multiple injuries to various parts of his body, while resuscitation efforts were underway," but his death was declared shortly thereafter, following failed attempts to keep him alive.

A member of the medical team said: "The motorcycle rider was found lying on the side of the road, unconscious, with no pulse or breathing, suffering from severe injuries."

He added: "We provided them with advanced medical aid, which included prolonged resuscitation attempts, but unfortunately, we had to declare one of them deceased," just before confirming the death of the other accident victim.

He continued: "We provided medical treatment to the other injured individual and transported him to the hospital in critical condition, while we were doing our utmost to save his life."

According to official statistics, the casualty toll from road accidents has reached 17 Palestinians.
