70,000 Perform Friday Prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque

SadaNews - About 70,000 people performed the Friday prayer at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid the strict military measures imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities to control access to the mosque.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces hindered the arrival of worshippers to Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform the prayer, detaining several young men and preventing them from entering the mosque.

The occupation forces continue to impose strict restrictions on the entry of worshippers to Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially during Fridays.

The occupation authorities deprive thousands of citizens from the West Bank provinces from accessing Jerusalem to perform prayers at Al-Aqsa, as they require special permits to cross their military checkpoints surrounding the holy city.
