The Medical Laboratory Syndicate Holds Its Regular Meeting at the Syndicate's Headquarters in Ramallah
SadaNews - The Palestinian Medical Laboratory Syndicate held its eighth board meeting yesterday, Saturday, January 17, 2026. The session began with a moment of silence and the recitation of Al-Fatiha in memory of the syndicate's founder and former head of the medical laboratory, Dr. Osama Al-Najjar, in appreciation of his professional and syndicate achievements.
The members of the syndicate board confirmed their full commitment to the syndicate's constitution during the session, pledging to continue the path established by Dr. Al-Najjar with sincerity and dedication, in order to preserve the professional and national legacy he left behind.
Accordingly, the syndicate board approved the following:
1. The appointment of Mr. Samer Mazen Abu Najmeh Al-Tamimi as the head of the Medical Laboratory Syndicate until the general conference convenes to officially approve him according to the constitution.
2. The election of Dr. Ayman Al-Najjar as the deputy head of the Medical Laboratory Syndicate.
3. The naming of all continuing education halls related to the syndicate as "The Hall of the Late Dr. Osama Al-Najjar for Continuing Education."
4. The naming of the head's award presented at the Palestinian International Conference as "The Late Dr. Osama Al-Najjar Award," which has been adopted by the family of the deceased, represented by the mother of Haj Ahmad Mustafa Al-Najjar "Abu Osama" under her patronage.
The syndicate board confirmed that these decisions come in loyalty to the legacy of the late and his significant contributions to elevating the profession of medical laboratory science and strengthening its presence and national role.
