More than 38,000 travelers crossed through the Al-Karama crossing last week
SadaNews - More than 38,000 citizens and visitors crossed through the Al-Karama crossing during the last week, while the police arrested 42 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of departures during the week was (23,312) people, while the number of incoming travelers was (15,291) people, and the movement of travelers was active.
During the same period, the police arrested (42) individuals wanted by the judiciary and banned from traveling, whether during their attempt to leave through the crossing or while waiting for their arrival upon entering Palestinian territories. They are wanted in cases filed before the courts and public prosecutor.
The police, along with all security and civil agencies in the General Administration of Crossings and Borders, provided numerous facilities and services to all citizens, including coordination for (6) medical cases for travel between both sides of the crossing in Palestinian ambulances.
