The Occupation Seizes 47 Dunams of Land in Jenin and Nablus
SadaNews - The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported today, Monday, that the occupying state has seized an area of 47 dunams from the lands of the towns of Faqqua and Silat al-Dhar in the Jenin Governorate, and Burqa in the Nablus Governorate, with the aim of expanding a military order that was previously issued by the occupation authorities last month.
The commission indicated that the military order numbered T/175/25, issued last month, confiscated a total of 503 dunams from the lands of the three towns with the aim of paving a "security" road connecting the evacuated settlements of "Homesh" and "Sanur" in 2005.
It continued that the occupation authorities today again seized an area of 47 dunams from the mentioned towns to add new sections to the intended road in the area, which is located to the west of the towns of Faqqua and Silat al-Dhar and to the north of Burqa.
The authorities pointed out that the occupation authorities have recently targeted the northern West Bank region, especially Tubas and Jenin, with a large number of land confiscation orders for military purposes, reaching 23 military orders to create a security and military infrastructure that paves the way for a return of colonial settlement to the area, threatening the geography of Palestine with manipulation and fragmentation.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission indicated in its press statement regarding the violations of the occupying state and the measures of colonial expansion that in total for the year 2025, the occupation authorities issued 94 orders for land confiscation for military purposes, 24 of which resulted in the establishment of buffer zones around the settlements and 52 aimed at paving "security" roads for the benefit of the settlers, the largest of which is a road extending 22 km in the northern Jordan Valley, and 5 orders aimed at establishing barbed wire fences and walls, and 9 other orders for establishing and expanding military sites and others.
