Hamaileh: Civil Defense controlled the fire, praising the efforts of the Civil Defense crews and security agencies
SadaNews - Jericho and the Jordan Valley Governor Dr. Hussein Hamaileh, accompanied by leaders of the security agencies, visited the site of the fire that broke out in one of the iron factories in Jericho, which was controlled by the Civil Defense crews and joint agencies.
Dr. Hamaileh praised the great and continuous efforts made by the Civil Defense crews and security agencies in their quick and professional handling of the fire, commending the follow-up by Major General Akram Thawabteh, Director General of the Palestinian Civil Defense, and his direct instructions to the field crews until the fire was completely controlled.
The governor confirmed that no injuries were recorded, thanks to God and the high readiness and joint coordination among all the agencies that worked with a spirit of teamwork to control the fire and prevent its spread.
Dr. Hamaileh expressed his gratitude, on behalf of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, to the Civil Defense crews and all security agencies, as well as everyone who contributed to the firefighting efforts, noting that His Excellency the President and his deputy, Hussein Sheikh, were in constant contact to stay updated on the ongoing events.
The governor indicated that necessary measures will be taken and an official investigation will be opened through the Public Prosecution and relevant authorities to determine the causes of the fire and unveil the truth, wishing safety for all.
